Ooh, the fun part... As I said, the main reason I cut off all my hair is that it didn't look good any more. Better living through chemistry couldn't make my hair anything other than the ratty, stringy mass it was. And it was going away on its own. I refuse to be one of those people who does the "comb-over" to hide their bald spot. I know people for whom male-pattern baldness and long remaining hair work together. I'm not one of those people. The pattern I inherited was going to turn me first into Friar Tuck, and while shaving my head and living with men is my idea of a good time, burlap chafes me. Eventually, I would have looked like Will Shakespeare (at least as he looks in the portraits) which is artistically cool, but in my book not a bit attractive. That's why I shaved my head.
